The defending counsel of Nnamdi Kanu, Ejiofor revealed to the media houses why Kanu should be on bail and also emphasized that the judge presiding over the trial, Binta Nyako of Abuja Federal High Court has been corrupted by the Federal Government.
Recall that yesterday November 10, the trial for the Biafra leader took place in Abuja, with no reporter in attendance except some dignitaries like; Sowore, Some British envoys, and others.
According to his lawyer, an application was made to move Kanu to Kuje Correctional Centre, after spending months at the Department of State Services custody, unfortunately, Justice
Binta Nyako rejected the application and ordered that Kanu should be moved back to the DSS custody, making the second time the application was rejected.
Revealing why Kanu should be on bail, he said “Justice Binta Nyako has been corrupted by the Federal Government, and also being influenced by her fellow Fulani tribe, their ulterior motive is to jail him, but nothing If such will happen”.
With this foul play, Justice will never be delivered, this man committed no crime, all their allegations were because he demanded freedom and liberation for his people.
Also, Justice Binta Nyako revealed that the bail was rejected because Kuje correctional center is not well secured and it is highly susceptible to attack, members of the Eastern Security Network may plan a jailbreak.
