Why I Won’t Support Peter Obi If Loses APC Presidential Ticket – Rochas Okorocha

In the interview former governor Rochas Okorocha recently had with BBC News Pidgin, he revealed why he will not support the former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi, if he eventually loses the presidential ticked of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

First, Rochas Okorocha asked, “why will the All Progressives Congress (APC) not give me the ticket in the first place?” Then, on supporting Peter Obi because he’s from the southeast, he said, “I am not a member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). I am in the All Progressives Congress (APC) and that means I must always support my party at all time. You are not even talking about Pius Anyim.”

Rochas Okorocha made it clear that if he becomes Nigeria’s next president, he will engage the youths to the point that they will not think of joining gangs that cause insecurity to the nation. He said he has exemplified that as a governor of Imo state for eight years and doing so as a president will not be a hard nut to crack.
