The Minister of Justice of Nigeria, Abubakar Malami has revealed why he sent Police and armed forces to evict residents of Magodo.
Recall that few days ago, Magodo area in Lagos was ransacked by the Police, Soldier, different Armed Forces to eject the residents of magodo; which was regarded as the Federal Government land that was sold out to people illegally.
During the late hours of Wednesday, Malami revealed why he sent Police and armed forces to evict residents of Magodo. He said this via a statement released by his media and public aide, Umar Gwandu.
Part of the statement reads “The act was just a mere compliance to the order of the Supreme Court of Law, the area was declared to belong to the Federal Government by the court in the year 2012”.
” Babajide Sanwo-Olu and other Southwest Governors are pathetic they should heed to the Court orders, that is their role as executives”.
