Highly revered clergyman, Rev Father Mbaka Ejike has slammed all Igbo leaders, asking “why are you All Shying To Talk About Kanu”.
Recall that the IPOB convener, Kanu was arrested June 24, in Kenya by Nigerian authority, and was immediately transferred, and detained at Abuja, DSS headquarters, he was appeared in court on June 29, to continue his trial, after he jumped back four years ago, and absconded out of Nigeria. Since then he has not yet been released or tried to the court, nor does he have the right to meet any of his relatives, except his lawyer.
A video was uploaded on a Facebook page yesternight, where Father Mbaka Ejike has slammed all Igbo leaders, asking “why are you All Shying To Talk About Kanu”.
He said, “ An adage says, no matter how bad a child can be, he can never be left to be devoured by a lion, all our Igbo lawyers and leaders are coward, a son of the soil has been detained for months now, but yet no one is talking about it, everyone is shying away, you all condemned him to death, can any of you condemn your biological son to death?”.
“I know I’m always misjudged with this, but the Almighty Father sees my clean heart, and knows that I am only watching out for a lost soul, I’m ordained as a soul-saver and winner, according to the Bible, I must leave the ninety-nine to look for the lost one’.
“Igbo culture represents unity, we have no regard for money, or what it can do, we are meant to share money and not to allow money to share us, Political affiliations are making us sell our son, God is watching and waiting”
