The feud between Fani-Kayode and Governor Wike has been taken to another level after the duo has continued to slam each other.
The former aviation minister, under the Jonathan regime, during a political talk show, insulted Wike, the executive Governor Of Rivers State, and his cabinet, stating that his father, Late Remi Fani-Kayode was one of the notable political figures in his days, and was once a deputy premier of Western Nigeria.
The feud between Fani-Kayode and Governor Wike, kick-started after Governor Wike, slammed ‘FFK’, that his acceptance into the All Progressives Congress was due to the good deed of his father, and he (FFK) is nothing to reckon with.
This provoked Fani-Kayode, and retaliated back;
“All that comes out of Wike’s mouth is nothing but rubbish, he dared mention my father, Who is his Father? he doesn’t even have the charisma to mention his name, my father was a reputable man, who was part of the people that moved the Independence of Nigeria, in 1958, he was a man of power, strength, courage, and integrity, which I am proud of.
There are speculations that the bad blood between the duo, is due to the defection, that FFK made over to APC.
