The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB have sent a strong warning to FG, stating that if their leader is not released from detention, they will cripple Nigeria.
Recall that, the group has been sending out several threats and warnings to the Federal Government after Kanu was arrested and detained three months ago. His trial has been ongoing for the past few months to defend the seven charges slammed against him.
However, IPOB sent a strong warning to FG, stating that if their leader is not released from detention, they will cripple Nigeria.
The statement was released earlier today, where they stated that Justice Binta Nyako (Presiding Judge over the Nnamdi case) has been corrupted and was being used by the Federal Government.
The group alleged that the judge has been playing a trick by constantly adjourning Kanu’s trial, keeping him in detention. The group expressed their displeasure on how Kanu was on trial without his legal representation.
Recall that, Best News reported that during the trial of Kanu that media houses, reporters, journalists, and even some of his lawyers were not granted access into the courtroom.
