We Must Unify PDP First Before Nigeria – Governor Makinde

The Oyo state governor, Seyi Makinde cleared air over internal crisis in the party, People’s Democratic Party (PDP). He assured Nigerians that the party has no issues amongst themselves.

At his address in the state capital, Ibadan, Makinde stated that don’t have issue with party and presidential flag bearer and if there’s any problems, it’ll be resolved.

“The truth is that we do not have any issue either with our party or our candidate. If there are challenges they must be tabled.”

He assured Nigerians that his party has a credible candidate who can unify, restructure and rescue Nigerians from the current situation the ruling party has caused to the country.

He stressed that APC has left Nigerians divided after eight years in power and for his party to unify Nigeria, they must unify itself first.

“We are supposed to give hope to our people, we want them to listen to us.

“Our party wants to rescue Nigeria and our candidate is a unifier. He wants to restructure Nigeria.

Eight years of the All Progressives Congress have left us sharply divided. The issue is we must practice what we preach. If we want to unify Nigeria, we must unify the PDP first.”

Also, Makinde said that, for the south to feel among, theNational Chairman of the party should step down and National Working Committee of the PDP be restructured.

“Do we have the capacity? The answer is resounding yes.

“The message from the South-West PDP is the South-West is asking that the National Working Committee of the PDP should be restructured.

“We are asking the National Chairman to step down so that the South will be fully included. That is the message,” Makinde said.
