Tonto Dikeh, a famous Nollywood actress, said that she chose to set aside her feelings and work for the benefit of Nigeria after joining the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).
Tonto Dikeh, who was the partner of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) governorship candidate in Rivers State during the 2023 election, was introduced as a member of the APC at the party’s main office in Abuja on Monday.
The actress shared this information in a post on Instagram on Tuesday.
Her words: “When you have facts and evidence to support your point, it often stops arguments and leads to important decisions and changes that benefit everyone.”
After learning about the facts, goals, and vision of the renewed hope agenda, I have decided to set aside my emotions and keep working for the good of Nigerian youth, women, and the whole country. I will continue to do this through the Committee of Youth on Mobilization and Sensitization (CYMS) platform, which is working together with the Federal Government.
I’ve learned that great leaders make a big difference by having big ideas and helping others without expecting anything in return. I care a lot about making Nigeria better and helping young people in our country.
This victory isn’t just about me, but it’s also about our dreams, hope, and the challenges we’ve faced. We want to make sure that our future generation can be proud of the positive things we leave behind.
I strongly support you Nigerians, and soon you will see the good effects of my decision. It will be clear to all of us.
As a proud Nigerian who supports progress and cares about girls’ rights, I want to say that I believe in Nigeria’s success under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s renewed hope agenda.
