President Bola Tinubu has expressed profound sadness over the tragic bombing incident that claimed about 30 lives in Tundun Biri village, Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State during a Maulud celebration.
In a statement released on Tuesday through his spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu described the incident as “very unfortunate, disturbing, and painful,” expressing deep indignation and grief over the tragic loss of Nigerian lives.
President Tinubu has directed a thorough and full-fledged investigation into the incident, urging calm while the authorities diligently examine the mishap. He extended heartfelt sympathy to the families of the victims, as well as the people and government of Kaduna State affected by the bombing.
“The President also directs swift and comprehensive medical attention for surviving victims while praying for the repose of the souls of the deceased,” the statement added.
