Gunmen have struck again in Awka, Anambra state, where three people were reported dead, and a chief was abducted.

According to eyewitness and sources, a car was being trailed by the Gunmen, who was later ambushed at a junction in Awka; during the course of abducting the chief, they shot sporadically into the air, which subsequently hit an innocent passerby.
Two men who was believed to be cult members by eye witness was also shot. The shooting created tension and fear, which everyone had to scamper for safety to avoid getting killed.
