During a plenary session today, the bill reached its second hearing. There are speculations that the whole Senate house is set to ban the use of public funds to sponsor foreign medical trips by government officials.

The bill was tabled again before the House, which Honorable Sergius was able to prove to the house that approval of the bill will bring about a more positive impact on the lives of the masses.

He also affirmed that public officials’ foreign medical can be sponsored with public funds if recommended by the Minister of Health.

Any Officials that travel outside the country for a medical checkup without approval or recommendation from the minister of health, will have to bear the cost from his pocket.
