Obinna Iyiegbu, a Nigerian socialite and entrepreneur, has commented on Davido’s intention to donate $250 million to orphans around the country.
As previously reported by Best News Network, Davido has opted to donate the money provided to him by his friends and fans to orphanages.
A five-person disbursement committee was formed to choose which orphanages and charities would receive the funding.
Obi Cubana, who was among those who offered Davido money, praised the singer’s decision, also described him as a king.
He said: “Davido donates 250m to orphanages! You see what we are talking about? A king will always be a king!We all rise by lifting others!
It’s not about how much we have but having the mind to help when and where we can! Together, we can all make the world a better place!!!
