Babajide Sanwo Olu, the incumbent Governor of Lagos State, has reacted to the death Of Tinubu that was announced earlier today.
The deceased, Alhaji Rafiu Tinubu, died at 75 years after battling with an ailment for a long time; family and close relatives have refused to reveal the ailment or cause of his death.
Sanwo-Olu, via a statement signed and released by Comrade Gboyega Akosle, reacted to the death of Tinubu, regarding the unfortunate incident has a massive loss to Nigeria as one.
Part of the statement read this ” I sympathize with the families, relatives and close relations of the Tinubu family, his demise was unexpected and happened at a time his experience ass needed the most.”
“Alhaji Tinibu was an experienced administrator and counselor on matters regarding state civil service, his legacy, achievements when he was a top civil servant of Lagos State for over 25 years before he was promoted as a head of Service would never be forgotten.
“ Alhaji Rafiu Tinubu contributions and advice towards the civil service of Lagos state was an exemplary mark of greatness and leadership.”
My condolences to all relatives and families of the Tinubu family. I pray may God console and grant you apparent fortitude to bear the weight of this loss.
