‘Peter Obi And My Brother-In-Law Use To Wash My Cars Before I Wake Up In The Morning – Nnia Nwodo

The Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, the Governor of Enugu state, Lawrence Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, and Nnia Nwodo, a lawyer and a former minister attended a catholic church service. At the service, Nnia Nwodo picked up the microphone to recognize the dignitaries in the Church house.

The Elder statesman speaking about Mr. Peter Obi reminiscences how he and his late brother-in-law used to wash his cars before they woke up in the morning. Nwodo pointed out that what intrigues him is the fact that Peter Obi was humble enough to serve in the house despite the fact that there is family affinity between them.

He said, ”I will like to greet three people here, one I would call a Junior brother. He and my wife junior brother were classmates in secondary school as well in University. They use to come to my house on holidays. And when they come to my house on holidays before I wake up, I see them washing my cars. The humility they both displayed is extraordinary. My brother-in-law is dead, may his soul rest in peace but his excellency Mr. Peter Obi is here.”
