Few hours ago, Reno Omokiri, a lawyer and member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) was interviewed on Arise News by Oseni Rufai and Reuben Abati. During this interview, Rufai tackled Mr Omokiri on his statement concerning Tinubu’s education in Chicago. He went ahead to challenge him with 2 major questions.
According to Rufai, Reno Omokiri stated that Tinubu’s education in Chicago State University is actually true because he went to the university himself to verify and he has the documents to back this up. However, Rufai pointed it out that a lawyer subpoenaed the Chicago school Tinubu allegedly went to and they denied to have any records of him.
The first question Rufai asked Omokiri was which official in the university gave him the records he saw and the second question he asked was if he can provide the document on live television for every Nigerian to see.
In response to these questions asked by Rufai, Reno Omokiri did not state who gave him the records he saw and he said the reason he can’t show such records is because he did not prepare well enough, so he didn’t come for the interview with the documents.
