According to LP Yunusa Tanko, one of the leaders of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra state, was a member of the Super Eagles team when they won the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) eleven years ago.
He made the claim in the message that he published on Saturday on his official X account.
Following Peter Obi’s trip to Cote D’Ivoire to cheer on the Super Eagles in their quarterfinal matchup against Angola, Yunusa Tanko made the statement.
The fact that Nigeria won the game 1-0 and advanced to the semifinals is no longer news.
In a post on his Facebook, Yunusa Tanko stated that Peter Obi has long been worried about the happiness of the populace.
