The labour party Presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has been the talk of the town due to his recent actions at an event organized by the Nzuko Umunna in Enugu state. Attendees were left stunned when Obi reached into his pocket and pulled out two pieces of Tom Tom candy instead of money.
According to Senator Shehu Sani, who was present at the event, many people were monitoring Obi as he reached into his pocket, expecting him to bring out money. However, Peter Obi had other plans and surprised everyone with the candy.
Sani explained that Obi proceeded to unwrap and eat one of the candies, and as he was about to return the second one to his pocket, someone quickly grabbed it from him.
Sani said, “Yesterday, Peter Obi dipped his hand in his pocket. Everyone thought he would bring out money, he brought out two pieces of Tom Tom. He unwrapped one and ate it. He wanted to return the second one into his pocket then Barrister Ozekhome quickly grabbed it.”
