The Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele, has reportedly picked up the presidential nomination and expression of interest form of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). 2023: PDP Fixes New Date For NEC, National Caucus Meetings
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has postponed its National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting for the second time in a week. Recall that the main opposition party had earlier scheduled its NEC meeting for Thursday, May 5 before shifting it to Tuesday, May 10. In a statement issued in Abuja on Thursday, PDP National Secretary, Senator Samuel Anyanwu, said the much-anticipated meeting will now hold on Wednesday, May 11. Read more.

The Deputy Senate President and Delta State Governorship aspirant under the All Progressives Congress, Ovie Omo-Agege has denied writing the electoral act alone.
