Just In: NLC Choose Strike Date To Protest Against Susbsidy Removal

The National Labour Congress (NLC) has revealed the strike date to protest against fuel subsidy removal by the Government in 2022.

Recall that the NNPC director announced a few months ago that the Subsidy on fuel would be removed, and the price per liter may go high as 250-300 Naira.

The announcement generated reactions online as masses cried out against the actions, which made the Lacour Congress schedule a meeting with the Government, but they couldn’t conclude.

However, the National Labour Congress (NLC) chairman, Ayubba Wabba, revealed a strike date to protest against fuel subsidy removal by the Government in 2022.

Ayuba stated that the conclusion of their meeting was to hold protest rallies in all the 36 States of Nigeria on January 27. Still, if the Government continued with their log head, a national protest would be held on February 1, 2022, in Abuja.

The increase in the fuel price would only bring nothing but acute and abject poverty to the people.
