The President Of Nigeria, Muhammed Buhari has revealed reasons for the electoral bill rejection.
Recall that months ago, an electoral Act Amendment Bill was proposed to the president by the House of Senate to sign into the law.
Unfortunately, the bill was rejected by the president who tagged the bill as an inappropriate law. However, Buhari has come out to reveal reasons for the electoral bill rejection.
He stated that it is very absurd and illegal to make a law that will regulate how political parties nominate their candidates and also conduct their elections.
Parties have their conditions to nominate and accept new members into their midst, changing their rules is not right and fair.
