Joe Igbokwe has stated on his second Facebook page (Agbalanze Nnewi) that if the suspected members of the deadly Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) who set fire to his Nnewi Home (House of David) a few months ago had met him at home on the day they committed the crime, they would have cut off his head and played it as a football.
In response to a video clip spreading on social media pages, the Anambra-born head of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) made the statement. Two chiefs who were kidnapped lately in Imo villages are shown in the film being brutalized by alleged members of IPOB’s Eastern Security Network (ESN), an armed force.
The two elderly men (monarchs) were seen in torn clothes and were heard speaking in unsteady voices with the accused ESN agents who were held at gunpoint.
“Igbos, here we come,” the Lagos-based politician, who has consistently spoken out against IPOB/actions ESN’s in the Southeast, says in the message.
