The immediate past Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, responded to Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike, who led the G5 group of governors in the main opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) against the PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar.
Responding to Nyesom Wike’s alleged support for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar in one of his tweets through his verified Twitter account, @akakubdogara recalled his discussion with Governor Wike and the pact the two had. he will not go public because he is not a traitor.
Nyesom Wike then became angry with him for being “self-satisfied and deep-minded” by insisting that only his duty should be respected and obeyed.
According to him, “My brother, Governor Nyesom Wike; If you have something to suffer from, I don’t think amnesia will be one of them. Do you think that no one but you is entitled to certain principles that cannot be compromised? “
He also said, “It’s a pity you don’t remember what our conversation and agreement was. Is it only your position that should be respected and respected?”
Yakubu Dogara said, “I will never betray my friends and brothers, so I will not respond to live TV.”
