After being pressured by thousands of Nigerians, the minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, had finally spoken concerning EndSars Report that was filed and submitted to Lagos State Government.
Recall that, 20th of October 2020,/an alleged massacre was said to have occurred at Lekki Tollgate in Lagos, after Soldiers killed peaceful and unarmed protesters while protesting against police brutality. The incident was denied by the Nigerian Army, politicians like; Lai Mohammed, Sheu Sani, and others even after when all the scene was captured live on Instagram by Dj Switch.
A Panel of Inquiry was set up by thr Governor Of Lagos to investigate the matter. However, after a year of investigation, the panel submitted their findings to the Governor Of Lagos, Babajide Sanwo-Olu a few days ago. The report got leaked online and it showed that a massacre happened at the Tollgate.
Following this, Nigerians took to their social media pages to take out their frustration on all the politicians, and other figures that claimed that the massacre did not happen.
Lai Mohammed has finally spoken concerning EndSars Report via his spokesman, Segun Adeyemi.
“We have heard about the reports of the Endsars panel, but the minister is currently on an official assignment, outside Nigeria”.
