The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) charged former Aviation Minister Femi Fani-Kayode with forgery and procuring a “fabricated” medical report before the Lagos Special Offences Court in Ikeja Wednesday.
Fani-Kayode was charged with procuring a medical report from one Dr. Ogieva Oziegbe with inventory No. 00345 dated October 11, 2021, which he reportedly filed before the Federal High Court in his ongoing money laundering trial, according to Justice O. O. Abike-Fadipe.
After hearing the attorneys’ arguments, Justice Abike-Fadipe scheduled a hearing on their applications for Friday, December 17, 2021.
