Alhaji Sani Buhari Daura, an industrialist and businessman, has died.
According to the Daily Trust, the powerful businessman died in the early hours of Sunday in Dubai.
He was 89 years old when he died.

In January 1932, the renowned businessman was born in Daura, Katsina State.
He was the proprietor of Standard Construction Company Limited and Chairman of the Bayajida Group until his death.
He received his Islamic education from his father, the Kbadi of Daura, and then enrolled in Daura Elementary School in 1938.
In 1962, he founded Bayajida Amenity Trading Company, his first business venture in Kano.
After eight years, the company was renamed Bayajida Nigeria Limited.
In 2003, he was awarded the Officer of the Order of the Niger.
He was from the same town as President Muhammadu Buhari.
