Former Rivers Assembly Chief Whip Evans Bipi, in a video clip that was released by Reportera News on their X handle (formerly known as Twitter), said that it was the Labour Party that won in Rivers State in the presidential election, not the All Progressives Congress.

“Last weekend they went for a Thanksgiving party and were bragging that they wish tomorrow was 2027, as if they won in 2023.

“The Labour Party won in 2023; we know how we did it. Chijioke said he was one of the people who assisted them.

“We too wish tomorrow was 2027 so that they could see our performance. When the glory has departed from a man, he will attend burials, child dedications, naming ceremonies, thanksgiving, and birthday parties because the glory has departed from the man.

“Now the glory is upon the governor. There must not be two leaders at a time; it is one leader at a time. Odili handed it to Rotimi Amaechi; Amaechi handed it over to another person; that name is bad luck.

“When Amaechi handed it to that person, he allowed him to rule, and he did so for eight years and was happy.

“They want to buy the whole of Port Harcourt, which is not their own.

“I want to thank you people for this work. They said in 2027 they are ready for us, and we are also ready for them.

“He asked the crowd, Are you ready for them? and they chorused with a loud yes.

“One man was saying he bought form for everybody; ask him his last place of work after he finished school before he became a local government chairman, and since then it has been from one government money to another.

“My women The governor said I should tell you that you have no problem; I will deliver what he sent to me.
