APC Kogi Central supporters shut down Okene

On Saturday, the residents of Kogi Central senatorial district came out to show their support for Usman Ododo, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC). They held a rally in Okene, which caused the town to be temporarily closed down. This rally was in preparation for the upcoming November 11 election.

A huge crowd gathered at Agassa Junction, Okene, to show support for the APC and its candidate.

The speakers at a really big rally talked about how lots of people came, which they said showed that the APC will win by a lot.

Speaking to the enthusiastic supporters, mostly people from Ebira, the Minister of Steel Development and Director General of the Kogi State APC Governorship Campaign Council, Shaibu Audu, said: “The number of people gathered here today is unlike anything we have seen before in the political history of Kogi State.

In all the time I’ve been keeping up with the politics of Kogi State, I have to say that this is a really significant development. It’s a major setback for the opposition political parties in the state.

Alhaji Usman Ododo’s vision, which has gathered a large crowd, is to bring about an agricultural revolution in the state. This includes producing a large amount of crops in the senatorial district.

We are here to focus on a Kogi agenda, not on an agenda based on ethnicity. The new administration will continue the work started by Governor Yahaya Bello in improving infrastructure and supporting the people.

The President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s government wants to bring back the Ajaokuta Steel Plant.

He wants Ajaokuta to be officially recognized as an industrial park. The President also wants to review the free trade plan in Nigeria to make Ajaokuta a free trade zone.

After completing this task, it would result in a significant increase in employment opportunities. Approximately 500,000 jobs will be created for young people in various sectors, both directly and indirectly. This is why the President is worried and has said we can’t let a rival political party take control of an important state like Kogi.

He declared that Kogi State will continue to be an APC State.

During his speech, the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Mohammed Asuku, mentioned that the people of Kogi Central showed their support for Governor Bello through the large crowd present, which demonstrated his significant accomplishments.

The huge crowd shows that Governor Yahaya Bello has done a lot for the people of the State. The large crowd shows that the APC has chosen a candidate that people like.

“The residents of Kogi Central have decided to vote in large numbers for Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo and Comr. Salifu Joel,” he said.

Hajia Halima Alfa, a key person from Kogi East Senatorial District, praised Governor Bello for introducing a fresh approach to politics in the state. He said the governor is highly regarded and respected in his own state.

I have never seen a crowd like this in Kogi State during my entire political life. This is the first time I have witnessed such a large gathering since I started going to rallies in 1999. Kogi Central is definitely an APC stronghold.”

History will definitely be made on November 11th when the district votes for the APC. It will be the highest vote ever.” she said.

Mohamed Idris, the son of Ibrahim Idris, who used to be the Governor of Kogi State, recently announced that he supports the APC candidate. He encouraged the people of Kogi Central and the entire State to choose the man and party that have a good understanding of the way forward. He said that there were no available spaces in Lugard House for political parties that oppose the government.

Governor Bello

Governor Yahaya Bello was very happy about the large number of people who attended the rally. He said that the crowd showed their love for the APC and their support for the party’s accomplishments while he has been in charge.

He thanked President Bola Tinubu for his great leadership and unwavering support for Kogi State.

He said that the party in the state will make the President happy and will win by a lot in the next election.

Bello stated, “The large number of people here shows that the APC has won.” There is no opposition in Kogi Central and in Kogi State.

We accomplished it in the past, and we will accomplish it once more on November 11. As administrators, we have worked hard to bring the people of the State together.

When we started our term, we encountered problems with division, different ethnic groups, and unfairness. During our time in office, we have successfully resolved all the divisions within Kogi State, bringing unity to our region.

We have made jobs. We constructed infrastructure. We have given more power to our women and young people than any other administration in the history of our State. Our main focus is on fairness, equity, and justice.

I promise that we are making Kogi State better for the next administration. Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo is a skilled individual.

He is the epitome of competence. Governor Bello encouraged us to help him continue the work we have started.

He promised the people that the elections would be peaceful. He said that the APC governorship candidate was experienced and wouldn’t need to learn on the job. He also said that the candidate wouldn’t focus on any specific ethnic group and would start working right away to continue the progress made by the current administration.

He asked security agencies to keep up the good work they have been doing in the state and take strong action against criminals before, during, and after the elections.

Ododo…

The candidate from the APC party, Usman Ododo, said he is sure that Kogi will still be governed by the APC party after the governorship election on November 11th.

I will keep working to fulfill the goals of our party for the progress of Kogi State and the happiness of our citizens.

We are committed to fulfilling the desires and hopes of our citizens.”

We have been doing that with the guidance of Governor Yahaya Bello, and we will keep doing it,” he said.

One of the main highlights of the rally was the large number of members from the SDP, PDP, and other political parties who joined the APC.
