There have been reports that ALL Progressive Congress (APC) Governors are currently in chaos after there was a clash over the planned national convention date of the party.
Recall that, on several occasions, members of the All Progressive Congress in different regions have clashed over the caretaker Regime of Governor Mai-Buni.
Mai Buni was elected in 2020 to take over from Adams Oshiomole as a caretaker; saddled with the responsibility of reconciling aggrieved members, organizing a national convention, where new executives will be appointed in the party, but the committee failed to choose a date and had been extending their timeline.
This caused many clashes in the party, as members were quick to rebuff such actions, and also called out Mai-Buni for causing division in the party, to retain his caretaker position.
However, our sources also stated that APC Governors are currently in chaos after they were a clash over the planned national convention date of the party.
The Governors we’re said to have been divided into factions; some calling for the convention to happen in February as planned or to be shifted.
