Akwa Ibom Chief Of Staff Fired From Duty By Gov. Udom Emmanuel

Akwa Ibom State Governor Udom Emmanuel has dismissed the State Chief of Staff named Akparawa Ephraim Inyang Eyen with immediate effect.

The sack of the Chief of Staff was revealed in a statement that was issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr Emmanuel Ekuwem on Tuesday.

The sack of the Chief of Staff came after an allegation that was levied against him by the stakeholders from the Onna Local Government Area. An area where the Chief of Staff and the State Governor hailed from.

The Chief of Staff was accused of dishonesty and not trustworthy to the State Governor which led to uncomfortable political atmosphere in the state.

In an official statement where the dismissal of the Chief of Staff was revealed as disseminated by SSG thus read as follows:

”On behalf of his Excellency, The Governor, Government and the good people of Akwa Ibom State, I write to convey to you his Excellency, The Governor’s profound appreciation of the worthy contributions you made to the development of our dear state while you served as Chief of Staff to the Governor

“However, given the urgent need to match skill set and competencies to the task of maintaining the momentum of economic development in peace, your services is no longer required and you are hereby relieved of your positron, as Chief of Staff to his Excellency, The Governor with immediate effect”

“You are therefore directed to handover all property of government in your possession, to the secretary to state government”

“Please accept the assurances of his Excellency, the governor’s goodwill and highest regards as you proceed to other endeavors.”
