APC Chieftain Gives Fresh Update On How To Win Elections In Nigeria [VIDEO]

Solomon Dalung, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former Minister of Sport during President Muhammadu Buhari’s tenure, criticizes the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the Supreme Court’s impact on election processes in Nigeria.

In a recent interview shared by Politics Nigeria, Dalung claims that the Supreme Court’s landmark judgment has redefined democracy in Nigeria, asserting that election outcomes now hinge on INEC.

He advises aspiring politicians to engage in lobbying the electoral body to secure victory in the evolving electoral landscape.

“The Supreme Court has reconfigured democracy in Nigeria with that landmark judgement; election in Nigeria now means INEC,” Dalung stated. “If you want to contest an election in Nigeria, you have to lobby INEC; you have to go to INEC, according to the Supreme Court.”

He further emphasizes that the recent changes signify a radical departure from the traditional meaning of elections in Nigeria, highlighting the unpredictable nature of election outcomes.
