2023: What I’ll Do If My PDP Presidential Bid Fails – Peter Obi

The vetting of hopefuls has begun in earnest in the run-up to the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) presidential primary. Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra state and a candidate for the PDP presidential ticket, went before the party’s screening committee on Friday, April 29.

According to TheCable, Obi noted during the screening process that the screening was outstanding and that it consisted of veteran and experienced party members.

Meanwhile, in response to the discussion over zoning the presidency to the southeast, Obi remarked that he will follow the party’s choice and that the party’s decision is paramount.

When asked about his chances of unseating Governor Nyesom Wike, Atiku Abubakar, and Bukola Saraki, Obi admitted that the delegates who will be present at the primaries to vote will be the deciding factor. He stated that he will not impose himself on delegates, but will instead let them to choose what they want.
