14 Dead Bodies Recovered From The 21-Storey Building Collapse

Another update reaching us from the building tragedy that happened in Parkview Estate in Ikoyi State is that 14 dead bodies have been recovered from The 21-Storey collapse so far.

Recall that BestNews Team reported that a 21-storey building under construction collapsed in Lagos yesterday, with the owner, several site workers, and foreign engineers that were working on the site.

The tragedy raised so much reaction, even the Deputy Governor Of Lagos State visited the site to inspect the measure of the damage caused, the Lagos Emergency Board was contacted immediately and they stated that evacuation will commence immediately.

According to the Commissioner for Information, Gbenga Omotoso revealed that after the Lagos Emergency Board came to the site with equipment and personnel to evacuate the people under the rubble, 14 dead bodies have been recovered from the 21-Storey collapse so far, and also nine men were also rescued alive, though some were critically injured.

Also update has reached us that Obi Cubana has been released from the Economic Financial Crimes Commission Office after being summoned over issues of money laundering and fraud.
